Fate is really cruel and has a really bad sense of humor. Damn it, why must all the problems be happening all at the same time. Mostly I was looking forward to Sunday but now that's all gone and screwed up thanks to my mother so I probably won't get to see my girlfriend for another week or so. ergh. And work all due at the same time. What's up with that. And practices all at the same time too. It's not that I can't do all of those things, I just can't do them all at the same time. If they were like evenly spread out during times when I'm more free then NO PROBLEM.

Feeling crappy the past few days. This week is totally not my week. Been having headaches. Been dying from the hot weather. Been severely irritated by the noise, dust and bad tempers of my parents during the renovations at my house.

My house is undergoing a super overhaul. The toilets are being redone so we don't have any toilets except the one in the kitchen and that one doesn't have a shower so I have to bathe KAMPUNG style. Using a bucket and a small scoop to just splash water on myself. And it's ALL cold water. I miss having flowing hot water POURING down on me in endless torrents of refreshing wetness. x( 

Plus all the mid-term paper drafts due. SIAN.

For a few weeks now, Sunday has been my favorite day of the week. :D cos Sundays are the days that I get to see my girlie and spend time with her. The past few weeks she's been coming over to my house to spend time together just studying, doing work, reading stuff, watching videos and playing games that sort of thing. Can't be helped that I only see her on Sundays I guess, but it really gives me something to look forward to during the rest of the week when I'm dragging myself to school and back.

And also, she invited me over to her place. like way happy, never expected she would do such a thing cos she's always been somewhat reluctant to let her family see me much less even meet me. Was really fun going to her house and getting to see what her room looks like and all. And she has a cool swing out on the balcony right next to her room.

Oh and since when she comes over I'll tend to take out the macbook to use, we have a whole bunch of photos taken with photobooth. :D

Baby, you're the best part of me.

Damned damned damned tired right now. I'm freaking glad that tomorrow is the start of the weekend because I'm totally gonna just collapse into sweet unconsciousness soon. Don't want to fall behind in my studying but I'm feeling extremely lazy and tired. Mostly lazy. But for the moment EXTREMELY tired.

I need some power ups babe. =P

Went with the girlfriend to watch Lady Gaga!!



Hahaha... it's very rare that she lets me take a photograph of us together so I must proudly post it up. Even though it's somewhat blurrr. :(



Hahaha... my idea of taking picture of the wristbands together. But wow, look at the contrast in skin tone! She's got such lovely fair skin. xD

Anyways, Gaga was rather cool. I especially liked the opening act with DJ Inquisitive and the Beatboxer whose name I don't know. Hahaha... makes me wanna go run off and get myself a set of turntables and mixer. Gaga as usual was her crazy self. I think her heck-care attitude and her total eccentricity is such a large part of her appeal. Of course her songs are pretty awesome too. Still, making us wait 1 HOUR +++ just for it to start is really a little too long I felt.

Well, in the end, made my girly happy got to watch her Lady Gaga. x)

Ha, that's the one thought that's been on my mind lately. In many ways it's super appropriate.

Firstly, my 2 years of national service and the subsequent 7 months of freedom have finally come to an end. On one hand I'm happy that I'm finally going back to school because that time away from school really felt like I'm in a limbo and my life is not really going anywhere for that period of time. On the other hand, I'm really going to miss the freedom and care free life that I've been living this past 7 months especially. Had all the time I needed to go for singing lessons, dance lessons, performance classes and also to go out with friends, watch movies, go to the gym etc. etc. Now suddenly I have to worry about bidding for modules, checking my lecture slots and balloting for tutorial timings. AHHHH. So now I'm going to be trying to juggle personal life, full-time student life as well as a musical career on top of that. Exciting but very very daunting task.

Secondly, my girlfriend is also starting school. And her schedule is so long and busy. I mean 9AM to 7PM for almost every weekday for the whole week every week. I guess the time we get to spend together is gonna be significantly cut down.

Got so many things I wanna do. Must be focused. Focus focus focus.

Is such a ephemeral yet sempiternal thing. It's always there but you never have enough of it when you need it. When you want to savor it, it just flows out of your fingers all the faster.

The more I get of you, I guess the more I want. x)

Said that a few days back I brought my girl on a tour of Singapore's civic district. Look at the cool pic that she took of me.

And then I also met my girl at Bugis cos she wanted to go shopping for a present for her friend. Then after buying the present decided to just roam around illuma. Met Fiona and Alex there also. Haha... so coincidental. Oh, and the best part is she got me a flower. xD love love love it.

Lastly, on Sunday evening we went to watch a play by some friends from the AJC stajeworks alumni.
After the play we decided to just hang out next to the Singapore river and watch the scenery. Also took out my guitar and decided to randomly play songs as she took out my hair wax and proceeded to style my hair to absolute shuai-ness. Heh.

Life's pretty good. x)

Ha. Been a while since I updated here.

Firstly, my last post was about my new hair color. Ha. And that is a very interesting discussion point among everyone who's met me. Seriously it's very amusing how everyone has very EXTREME opinions about it. Everyone either HATES IT or LOVES IT. Confusing! Here I was thinking it looked rather edgy J-rock but instead people have been telling me it's very AH BENG! Also comments about it looking like dried hay (quite true la). Now considering coloring it to a dark shade of brown and leave in some of the platinum blond as highlights.

Also... went to Thailand for holiday. Did stuff like paintball, jet ski, fake tattoos and bought a new skateboard. Not really intending to use it yet till my old one is worn out.

And... that day after bistro performance I just decided to bring my girl on a tour of Singapore's civic district. :) The old high court and city hall buildings all look so awesome. Got some photos but waiting for her to upload them.
